Carob (saldžiosios ceratonijos ankštys) – tai saldus, kakavą primenantis augalinis produktas, gaunamas iš carob medžio (Ceratonia siliqua) ankščių. Lietuviškai jis dažnai vadinamas saldžiuoju pupmedžiu, šokolado pakaitalu arba kerobu. Tai dar viena skonio šventė burnoje. Aliejus su saldžiojo pupmedžio poskoniu. Tai stebina ir maloniai nuteikia gomurį.
