Extra Virgin Olive Oil made from purple olives. Available in picual and hojiblanca varieties. It has been obtained during the first days of November, with cold extraction, in Mergaoliva's organic oil mill. Family farm of traditional olive groves located in the province of Jaén.

This Extra Virgin Olive Oil has been obtained from olives harvested at the beginning of November.
HOJIBLANCA Variety:This Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) , obtained from the HOJIBLANCA olive variety, is subtle in the mouth and very aromatic when smelling. Its flavours remind us of apple, fresh grass at dawn and green almonds. It is mildly bitter with a pleasant pungent sensation.
Because of its elegant flavours, this oil is recommended for adding taste to fresh or grilled vegetables. It is especially attrative in salads in combination with cheese, fruit or pasta.
Our Cénit type EVOO is an oil with great personality, but not as exuberant in green nuances as the ALBA type.
This packaging (baginbox or bag container) is little known, but has great qualities due to its ease of use and its contribution to the preservation of the product, since its container is always under vacuum, preventing oxidation. Its outer box, on the other hand, prevents light from affecting the contents.
All our Extra Virgin Olive Oils come from the juice of olives harvested from our own olive groves. All the monitoring and care is carried out by qualified staff educated in environmental care. The main base of a good Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the care of the farmland and the tree that supports the olive: the olive tree.
